The Evolving Needs of Modern RIRS

Advances in technology are reshaping the priorities of fluid management during RIRS.

01 Surgical Visualization

Clear and stable visualization remains the foundation of successful RIRS. Continuous removal of blood, stone dust and debris is essential to maintain procedural efficiency and support precise laser lithotripsy.

02 Intrarenal Pressure Management

With the increasing adoption of FANS (Flexible and Navigable Suction Ureteral Access Sheath), intrarenal pressure management has become a central focus in modern RIRS.

Effective pressure control is no longer achieved through irrigation or suction alone, but through the intelligent coordination of both systems to maintain stable fluid dynamics throughout the procedure.

03 Temperature Management During High-Power Laser Lithotripsy

The widespread use of high-power laser systems, particularly thulium fiber laser (TFL), has increased awareness of intrarenal temperature management.

Adequate fluid circulation is essential for heat dissipation, helping maintain a stable thermal environment throughout laser activation.

The Next Step in Fluid Management

These evolving clinical demands require a new approach to fluid management—one that goes beyond pressure monitoring and enables intelligent autoregulation.

i-MIMERsys : Inspiring the SIPS Concept

i-MIMERsys integrates intelligent irrigation, coordinated suction and continuous real-time intrarenal pressure feedback into a single platform.

Its ability to dynamically balance irrigation and suction transforms fluid management from passive pressure monitoring into active pressure autoregulation.

This innovation inspired the concept of SIPS — Suction Irrigation Pressure Autoregulating System.

From Pressure Monitoring to Intelligent Autoregulation.

Why SIPS Works

Intelligent technologies working together to deliver stable fluid management throughout every procedure.

01 Five-Point Auto Regulation

Five independent control points continuously optimize irrigation and suction for faster and more precise response.

02 Dynamic Irrigation–Suction Balance

Automatically coordinates irrigation and suction to maintain stable fluid dynamics throughout the procedure.

03 Continuous IRP Monitoring

Real-time intrarenal pressure feedback enables continuous monitoring during every stage of RIRS.

04 Intelligent Safety Protection

Dual safety checkpoints monitor both irrigation pressure and intrarenal pressure (IRP), automatically responding when preset thresholds are reached.

05 Integrated ZSR Solution

Designed to work seamlessly with the ZSR ureteroscope, IRP sheath and disposable accessories as one complete intelligent fluid management platform.
